A horrific incident unfolded in the Queens borough of New York City on Sunday. A man, armed with a steak knife, embarked on a deadly rampage, resulting in the tragic loss of four lives. The victims, who were all members of his extended family, included two innocent children.

In a bid to neutralize the threat and prevent further harm, officers was forced to open fire.
The suspect, identified as a 38-year-old male, posed a significant threat to the responding police officers at the scene. In a shocking turn of events, he attacked and stabbed two of the officers, as reported by the police to the media. The situation escalated rapidly, leaving the officers with no choice but to resort to lethal force in order to neutralize the threat. One of the officers, in an act of self-defense and to protect others at the scene, shot the suspect, resulting in his immediate death.
According to police reports, the suspect had a history of violence and had previously been apprehended in relation to a domestic violence incident. This past encounter with law enforcement paints a troubling picture of the suspect’s behavioral patterns.
After the tragic incident, the two police officers who were injured during the encounter were transported to a hospital.

The four victims included a young boy of just 12 years old, a little girl who was only 11, a woman in the prime of her life at 44, and a man in his 30s.
The 11-year-old girl was discovered in front of the house. The other three victims were found inside the house, each in their own bedrooms, as stated by the police.
There was another casualty in this horrific incident. A woman, aged 61, also fell victim to the assailant’s, she was stabbed and was rushed to the hospital immediately, as reported.
The suspect set a couch in the living room on fire. The flames from the burning couch created a barrier, preventing the police officers from entering the home. The arrival of the fire department was crucial at this point, as stated by the police.
