Disturbing footage shows Hamas kidnapping Israeli lawyer Amit Soussana during Oct 7 attack

A deeply unsettling video has emerged, capturing the horrifying moment when a group of Hamas terrorists abducted Amit Soussana, a female Israeli lawyer. This shocking incident occurred during an unexpected attack on October 7. The video snippet, which provides a chilling glimpse into Soussana’s ordeal, was broadcasted by Israel’s Channel 12 this week.

In the video, Soussana, who is 40 years old, is seen being forcibly taken from her home located in Kibbutz Kfar Azza. The footage clearly shows several terrorists, their faces masked, marching her out of her residence.

The video reveals a heart-wrenching scene where Soussana is seen desperately trying to break free from the grip of her captors. One of the Hamas terrorists, in an attempt to subdue her, raise her onto his shoulder. Despite this, Soussana’s spirit remains unbroken. She continues to struggle for her freedom, kicking fiercely even as another terrorist attempts to restrain her by grabbing her leg.

The man who had lifted Soussana onto his shoulder is knocked down. This sudden development brings the group to a halt. They quickly regroup, forming a protective circle around Soussana. In a swift and coordinated move, they wrap her up in a sheet, effectively immobilizing her.

Soussana, who was captured in a chilling abduction by Hamas, has now been freed. Her release came as part of the final group of hostages, just before the end of the seven-day truce between Hamas and Israel. Alongside Soussana, Mia Schem, an Israeli-French citizen, was also released.

On a significant day marked by a breakthrough in negotiations, ten individuals who had been held hostage were set free. This release was a result of a deal that saw Israel reciprocate by freeing a number of Palestinian prisoners. Among them were eight women, 22 boys who were minors were also part of the group that was released.

According to a report by The Times of Israel, Soussana was living a solitary life in the town of Kfar Aza. She was hiding in her home’s safe room when she was kidnapped. At the time, she was suffering from a fever.

Hamas, released over 100 hostages. This action was part of a cease-fire agreement, a critical step towards ending the ongoing conflict.

According to estimates provided by Israel, approximately 140 individuals are still being held captive in Gaza.

A few days ago, the internet was flooded with unsettling images and videos that reportedly originated from Hamas’ military wing. These visuals depicted masked terrorists, bidding farewell to Israeli hostages after transferring their custody to the Red Cross.

The footage and photographs show a sequence of events where the terrorists are seen leading the hostages, handing them over, and then waving goodbye. In response, the hostages are seen waving back. Among the hostages, some children can be seen smiling.

However, the authenticity of these visuals has been questioned by some social media users. They pointed out that the terrorists can be heard instructing the hostages to “keep waving.” This revelation has led to speculation about the circumstances under which these visuals were captured, raising concerns about the wellbeing of the hostages.
